Meet Dami Adewole, our first Bundantband customer.

Dami is an Instagrammer, Blogger, Full Time Mum, Certified Interior Designer and a Home Organisation Enthusiast. She runs her own business; Dola’s Home Styling Company where she styles, inspires and helps you plan your perfect home.

She is also our very first customer. That’s right, Dami signed up straight away when we launched our pre-order campaign in January which means she’ll be getting the Bundant Starter Bundle as soon as it’s released.

We sat down to chat with her about her experience with Bundant, her number one life hack and her love for home organisation and interior design.

Let’s jump straight in; how did you get into home organisation?

Dami: I’m a routine-focused person so naturally I’ve always liked systems that work for my lifestyle. I prefer anything that saves me time and money and reduces stress for me and my family.

What’s the main driver behind your need to be in control?

Dami: Watching my mother growing up, I picked up on her habits. My husband and I have a busy lifestyle – like, back-to-back busy – being organised helps me stay on top of everything. I can’t function if things are untidy, so I have to make sure everything is in order for me to focus.

Did your passion for interior design come before or after your love for home organisation?

Dami: I have always had a passion for interior design, but perfecting my home organisation came after. I combined my passion for interior design and my desire for an organised space to create a system that works for me and my family.

What life hack have you found that you couldn’t live without now?

Dami: One life hack that has worked for me is buying only what I need at a particular time. If I’m going to buy something else, the one that was there before has to go – one in, one out. For example, I only keep the right number of utensils needed for my family; it forces us to clean as we go.

What habits do you have that have changed the way you live?

Dami: Journaling and writing everything down helps me a lot because then I can go back and see that I’m accountable for it. If I have a meeting and I set the reminder on my phone. Writing down my activities, and my plans – whether it’s in a journal, in a planner, or on my phone – just makes my life easier.

How did you find out about Bundant?

Dami: My husband found it on LinkedIn and shared it with me because he knows how much I love home organisation. I was attracted to Bundant because it blends into my kitchen space and is functional.

What made you decide to pre-order Bundant?

Dami: I loved the idea of Bundant, and I felt it would be useful in my daily life. We frequently run out of laundry detergent and dishwasher tabs – it’s part of daily life and it’s so easy to forget to refill. I decided to take the plunge, even though I never pre-order anything. I like to see something before I buy, but I was convinced by Bundant’s functionality.

What’s the most unique thing that you have in your home?
Dami: I love the size of my living room – it’s small so nice and cosy. I love that it takes less than five minutes to tidy up and every time it looks really fresh. So when I’m cozying up in my living room, I am just so happy.

What one thing that you’ve splurged on in the last month for your home?
Dami: Not me personally, but my husband bought me new Caraway pots and pans for Christmas. I’ve only started using them a couple of days ago, but they are a classic grey and so aesthetically pleasing.

What good money habits have you formed for yourself?
Dami: Like I touched upon previously, I only buy what I need and what gets used. I will always go shopping with a list, so if it’s not on the list, it’s not going in the basket. I also meal prep. Not only does it help me in terms of not having to think what we’re eating every day, it also saves me a lot of money.
